Metalworks has a busy metal fabrication facility located in Bolton, Ontario. We are seeking hardworking, motivated professionals for our Machine Operator/General Labour position. Roles & Responsibilities:
Quality control, safe operation of various machines (Plasma cutters, shears, etc)
Keeping work area clean and general housekeeping
Assisting co-workers with two-person lifts and tasks
Assembly of products
Other tasks as directed by Supervisor

Must Have:
Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills
Ability to follow directions
Experience is a preferred but is not required

FULL TIME

Hours:
Day shift (6:30am -3:00pm) or Afternoon shift (3:00pm-11:30pm)

Roles & Responsibilities:
Read and interpret custom drawings and blueprints of project plans
Perform MIG, TIG and other types of weld based on project needs
Assist in the set up of materials and machinery as required
Follow daily Safe Operating Procedures

Must Have:
2+ Years of experience with Tig & Mig Welding in a shop setting
Experience welding materials like stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized, etc.
Precise and accurate Math & Measuring skills is a must
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multi task and work as team
